Project: Mini Exercise Bike SolidWorks Parametric Design

Overview

I designed this compact, portable mini exercise bike using SolidWorks to solve a real problem: sedentary lifestyles. It lets users pedal while working, studying, or watching TV—turning idle time into active calories burned.

My Role & Skills

· Parametric 3D Modeling – Fully editable dimensions for different leg lengths

· Assembly Design – Pedal fastener, Pedal grip, Pedal shaft, Resistance knob, and main body.

· Motion simulation-ready – Verified smooth rotation before prototyping

Project: Wooden Bookshelf Assembly SolidWorks 3D Design

The Design

A freestanding wooden bookshelf designed for stability and efficient use of space. It helps organize living or working areas, keeping books and decor accessible.

My Process & Skills (SolidWorks)

· Parametric 3D Modeling: I built the model so all dimensions (shelf thickness, height, width) are driven by design equations. Changes are easy; adjusting one parameter updates the entire structure automatically.

· Assembly Configuration: The model shows how the side panels, shelves, and back support fit together. It uses standard joints (dados or butt joints with fasteners) to simulate real-world carpentry.

· Technical Drawings: Extracted 2D orthographic views with dimensions. Useful for generating cut lists, CNC files, or assembly instructions.

Deliverables

Includes native SolidWorks files (Parts and Assembly), STEP, STL, and a bill of materials (BOM).
