• State: cart persists after refresh and empties after an order

Automated UI test suite for the SauceDemo (Swag Labs) e-commerce website, built with Python, Selenium WebDriver and pytest.

What it covers (3 test scenarios):

• Login with valid credentials
• Login with invalid credentials
• Adding items to the cart and completing checkout

Highlights:

• Page Object structure: page classes in Pages/ keep locators and actions separate from the tests in Tests/
• Test data (such as login credentials) stored in a JSON file in Fixtures/, not hardcoded in the tests
• Runs from the command line with pytest
• Demo video of a full test run included in the repo

• Updating a user's nickname
• Updating a profile picture
• Searching for an existing person
• Searching for a non-existing person

Highlights:

• Both positive and negative scenarios for login and search
• Test data kept in fixture files, so URLs and credentials can be changed without touching the tests
• Runs in the Cypress UI runner or headless from the command line
• Demo videos of both run modes are included in the repo
