This project showcases a 10B-1 ISO 606 roller chain and sprocket system that I designed and animated as part of my mechanical modeling portfolio.

The entire chain drive assembly was accurately modeled in FreeCAD, following the ISO 606 standard dimensions for 10B-1 roller chains. The project includes precisely modeled sprockets and chain links to demonstrate realistic mechanical structure and proper engagement between components.

After completing the CAD modeling, the assembly was imported into Blender, where I created a mechanical animation demonstrating the chain drive motion. The animation highlights the correct interaction between the chain and sprockets, providing a clear visualization of how the mechanism operates.

This project showcases a custom enclosure designed for an ESP32 Type-C microcontroller. The housing was modeled in FreeCAD with a focus on precise fit, usability, and real-world application. The design includes properly aligned cutouts for connectors and ports, ensuring easy access while maintaining a clean and functional structure.

The enclosure was created to be suitable for prototyping and 3D printing, with attention to dimensions, clearances, and overall assembly. After completing the CAD model, the design was imported into Blender, where it was animated and rendered to clearly present the structure and visual appearance of the enclosure.

I designed and built a servo-driven linear actuator based on a slider-crank mechanism, converting rotational motion into precise linear movement. The system provides accurate 0–50 mm position control by converting user-defined positions into servo angles. Due to the mechanism’s non-linear kinematics, I implemented a lookup table with linear interpolation based on real measurements, ensuring accuracy and repeatability. The control code was developed with assistance from Claude AI.

The actuator includes an LM6UU linear bearing in a custom housing for smooth motion. The project was modeled and simulated in FreeCAD before building and testing a functional prototype, demonstrating the complete workflow from concept and CAD design to control implementation and physical validation.
