This project presents a critical literature review on employee retention in Human Resource Management (HRM). The study explores the major factors influencing employee retention, including job satisfaction, organizational commitment, leadership quality, career development opportunities, and workplace culture. It also examines how HRM practices such as compensation, training, employee engagement, and work-life balance contribute to long-term workforce stability and organizational success.
The research is supported by academic theories and scholarly sources, providing detailed analysis and insights into modern retention strategies used by organizations. Additionally, the project discusses the outcomes of effective employee retention, challenges faced by organizations, and existing research gaps in contemporary HRM practices.
