WHO AM I?
My name is Spero. I am a statistician and data analyst. I have a degree in applied statistics and a master's degree in economic and social sciences, so analysing statistical or econometric data is part of my daily life. I've been working in this field for 5 years now. I'm passionate about everything to do with figures, even more so when it comes to making them talk.
So I'm starting up this service so that I can work with all types of data, but above all so that I can help anyone who needs to carry out statistical analyses of their data.
MY WORK OUTSIDE COMEUP
I have helped many students outside ComeUp to process their datasets. Depending on their study objectives and the hypotheses to be tested, I am able to suggest the appropriate data analysis to be carried out and to develop the broad outlines or steps to achieve it.
I have also worked with a number of organisations setting up projects to carry out market research and process data collected from populations using online questionnaires.
The software I use most of the time is :
➤Excel ;
➤Stata ;
➤R Studio ;
➤SPSS.
WHICH ANALYSES ARE UP MY STREET?
➤ Graph representations with the software mentioned above.
➤ Univariate and bivariate descriptive analyses of your data using the software mentioned above.
- At this level, depending on the nature of the variables, I can produce a table summarising: mode, median, mean, variance, standard deviation, quantiles, etc.
- You could also run association tests between variables (Chi-2
test for qualitative variables and correlation tests for quantitative variables)
➤ Analysis of variance (1- or 2-factor ANOVA) using the software mentioned above.
➤ The production of time series:
- At this level I will be able to check the seasonality or trend of the series in order to see which model to use for forecasting.
➤Multivariate data analysis: Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Corresponding Factor Analysis (CFA), Multiple Component Analysis (MCA) using the software mentioned above.
➤Simple regression ;
➤Mutltiple regression ;
➤ Econometric analysis of qualitative data:
At this level, I will be able to do:
-logistic regression ;
-polytomous regression (ordinal or non-ordinal variables);
