Themes and plugins

Have your WordPress or Shopify theme installed and customized by a freelancer

A well-configured premium theme gives you a professional site without coding everything. Poorly configured, it slows the site down and breaks at the next update. On ComeUp, freelance developers install and customize WordPress and Shopify themes and set up Elementor, Divi or Astra, with the price shown upfront. 99% of the 200+ reviews left in the last 12 months are positive.

Buy the theme or plugin license from its publisher: it's what gives you access to security updates. See also: WordPress website, Shopify store and updates.

FAQ Themes and plugins

Based on orders from the last 90 days, customizing a Shopify theme is an inexpensive order, while fully configuring a premium WordPress theme usually costs two to three times as much. Offers for a specific adjustment start even lower. The price mainly depends on the number of pages to style and the changes requested.

Often 3 to 4 days, based on orders from the last 90 days. A simple installation or adjustment is faster, while customizing several pages takes a little longer. Make a backup of the site before the work starts: if something goes wrong, you can roll back.

Yes, it's the safest option. Buy the Elementor Pro, Divi or Astra Pro license in your own name, directly from the publisher, then give the key to the freelancer for installation. With a license in your name, you get the publisher's updates and support, and you keep it if you change providers. If it's a yearly license, of course, note its renewal date.

Yes, these assistants generate texts, images or snippets of code right in the editor, which helps you move fast. However, they don't see the whole site: colors, fonts and spacing can vary from one page to another. A freelancer can go over it to make everything consistent in the theme's global settings, which also makes future changes easier.

Check when it was last updated, whether it's compatible with your version of WordPress and how many active installations it has, all shown on its page. Make a backup before installing it, and avoid stacking plugins that do the same thing: each one can slow the site down. A plugin that hasn't been updated for a long time should be replaced, even if it still works.

Check that the freelancer knows the theme or builder you use (Elementor, Divi, Astra, Shopify theme) and ask for examples of sites they've customized. More than 200 reviews were left for themes and plugins in the last 12 months, and 99% are positive. Describe precisely what you want to change, with screenshots: the freelancer will know right away whether it's doable with your theme.
