** SEGMENTATION IN LOFT 2.0**
What is LOFT 2.0? It's an online platform for transcribing audio or video files from a link provided by the client. We then open this link in a private window. Additionally, we need the client's email address and password associated with the link to access this platform.
How do we work on LOFT? We follow the steps described above. When the task opens on the screen, we click "Park" to ask questions and determine the time limit for completing the segmentation and transcription. Then, we proceed with segmentation and direct transcription of the file. Once the transcription is completed, we click "Parking lot." The client is the only person authorized to submit the task if they are satisfied or accept that the segmentation and transcription are error-free.
What does segmentation mean? Segmentation involves separating or categorizing the voices of participants in a speech. For example, if there are 3 speakers, we identify "3 speakers" and have the option to rename these speakers.
What does transcription mean? Transcription simply involves writing the audio content as we hear it.
On LOFT, it's possible for one person to perform segmentation (person A) and another person to perform transcription (person B), or for the same person to handle both segmentation and transcription.

The basic rate for segmenting audio or video of 1 to 20 minutes is 5 euros, with a maximum completion time of 2 days for this task.
