I Didn't Start This Because I Wanted to Sell a Service. I Started Because I Wanted to Help Someone. A job search can be frustrating, especially when you know you have the experience but opportunities just aren't coming your way. My journey into reverse recruiting started with someone very close to me, my uncle. He was looking for a job, but despite having experience and the ability to do the work, he wasn't getting the opportunities he deserved. He was applying, waiting, and getting nowhere. I kept asking myself: “If he is qualified, why isn't he getting noticed?” So I decided to take a different approach. I began researching the job market, studying the types of roles that matched his experience, understanding what employers were actually looking for, and identifying where his application was falling short. Then I helped him reposition his entire job search strategy. We worked on his resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, and 30/60/90 day plan, making sure his professional story was clear, relevant, and positioned around the value he could bring to an employer. Instead of simply applying to every job we could find, we became more intentional. We targeted the right opportunities and presented him as the right candidate for those opportunities. And then something changed. • He started getting noticed. • He landed interviews. • And eventually, he got the job. • That experience changed the way I looked at the job search. I realized there are so many talented and qualified professionals out there who are struggling, not because they aren't capable, but because they don't know how to navigate today's competitive hiring market or position themselves effectively. • Some people need someone to help them find the right opportunities. • Some need their resume completely repositioned. • Some need help strengthening their LinkedIn presence. • Some need a compelling cover letter. •™Some need a strategic 30/60/90 day plan that shows an employer what they can bring to the table. • And some simply need someone in their corner who understands the process and can help them move forward. That's why I became a Reverse Recruiter. Today, I help professionals take a more strategic approach to their job search, from identifying suitable opportunities to strengthening their professional documents and positioning them to stand out from the competition. I don't believe people should have to struggle alone just because they don't know how to navigate the hiring process. There are qualified people out there looking for the right opportunity, and there are employers looking for the right people.
